Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-05.

Acceptance

By creating a Soundtrack account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What Soundtrack does

Soundtrack records your running workouts and the songs you listened to during them. It does not host or distribute music — playback is performed by Apple Music on your device, and you must have an active Apple Music subscription (or local-library equivalent) for the music portion of the app to work.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Don't impersonate other people. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (e.g. spam usernames, harassment via shared run pages).

Your content

You retain ownership of your runs and any data you upload. By marking a run as unlisted or public, you grant us permission to display it to anyone with the share link.

Acceptable use

Don't use Soundtrack to harass, abuse, or harm other people. Don't try to break the service, scrape it, or interfere with other users' experience.

No warranty

Soundtrack is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep your data safe but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months prior — currently $0, since the app is free.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time via Profile → Account → Delete Account. We can suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
